Hi, there. It’s Chris Hamilton here with SalesTipaADay, www.SalesTipADay.com. In a recent post, I talked about putting a social share widget on WordPress or any other type of website. On this post I’m going to take you through the steps so it’s easy for you to do on your own.

Start by going into the back end of your WordPress website. Next go into Plugins, and then hit Add New. Once you hit Add New, it will take you to a search bar. Type in Addthis (all one word). Then press the button Search Plugins and click Install Now.

Now you will see options for AddThis. This first one here—Share Buttons by AddThis—is the one you want to add to your website. The neat thing about this is it allows you choose how you want your share buttons to look. You can register your profile at the same time.

Let’s do it again. Go the back end of your WordPress website. Press Plugins, press Add New, type Addthis into the search bar, click Search Plugins and click Install Now. Once it’s on the site, you activate it. That’s how you add the widget AddThis which allows people to share and market your content for you and take your information viral. It’s great word-of-mouth marketing.
